Killings: Plateau PDP condoles with victims’ families, urges proactive steps to end mayhem
Crime, Politics
THE Plateau chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condoled with the families of those killed in the Sunday night attack in Bassa Local Government of the state.
The party in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Sir John Akans, said it was shocked and saddened by the continued brutal killings of innocent citizens by gunmen.
“The PDP under the leadership of its Chairman, Mr Chris Hassan, wishes to extend its heartfelt condolences to all families who have lost their loved ones as a result of the recent attack on Kwall district which led to the killing of four innocent people.
“This is nothing but an act of human wickedness to man without justification,” Akans said.
The party urged the State Government to take more proactive steps to protect lives and property in the state.
It prayed God to grant those killed eternal rest, guide and protect the living. (NAN)
