THE Kano State Government says it has approved the promotion of 95 workers in the state’s civil service to various grade levels and cadres .
Alhaji Uba Karaye, Chairman of the state Civil Service Commission, said this at the commission’s monthly meeting in Kano on Thursday.
Karaye said that the request for the transfer of services of three officers had also been ratified by the state government.
He ,however, said that the memo for the change of cadre had been stepped down for non-compliance with extant laws.
Karaye directed Ministries, Department and Agencies to notify the affected officers to follow due process for the transition.
The chairman enjoined newly elevated officers to be diligent and display high sense of responsibility in the discharge of their duties.
“This is to ensure a result -oriented civil service in the state,” he said.
The chairman thanked members of the promotion committee for their contributions to the successes recorded by the commission.(NAN)
