GOV. Ahmed Ododo of Kogi has called on residents to step into 2025 with renewed hope and a shared purpose toward a better and more qualitative life.

In his New Year message on Tuesday, the governor emphasised that 2025 was not just another page in the calendar.

According to him, the new year is a renewed opportunity for all to deepen collective resolve to build a Kogi that is stronger, more united, and more prosperous.

He expressed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state, acknowledging the significant strides they have taken together in the past year.

The governor attributed their successes to the unwavering support, resilience, and contributions of the residents.

Ododo said, as their Chief Servant, he reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a state where development, innovation, and inclusivity thrive.

“As we stand on the threshold of a New Year, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to each and every one of you,” he said.

Ododo outlined his vision for 2025 to include delivering impactful projects, and enhancing opportunities for youth.

Others are empowering women, and ensuring that every community feels the positive impact of governance.

He emphasised the importance of unity, stating that: “Together, we will tackle challenges with courage and determination, knowing that our unity is our greatest strength.”

The governor also urged residents to: “step into 2025 with renewed hope and shared purpose.”

He prayed for “abundant blessings to all homes, prosperity to the land, and continued progress for Kogi” in the new year.

Ododo also urged residents to remain steadfast in their efforts to support one another and contribute to the state’s growth and development.

He further encouraged them to remain rock-solid behind President Bola Tinubu’s vision and bold initiatives, which he believes will yield more fruits in 2025 and beyond.

“Our President is a blessing to our nation at a time like this that will need bold, courageous, creative and a forward thinking leader,” he said. (NAN)
