Kogi Health Insurance team visits ASHIA

THE Executive Secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA), Simeon Onyemaechi, received a delegation from Kogi State Health Insurance Agency led by Aledare Adekunle.

The team, which is on a study tour of the State’s Health Insurance Agency, was welcomed by Onyemaechi at the ASHIA office in Awka.

Onyemaechi used the opportunity to inform the visitors that not less than 10 states had visited ASHIA over the same subject-matter at which they could attest to the fact that ASHIA would always deliver.

He urged them to feel at home while in the state pointing out that Anambra remained the safest state in the country.

Onyemaechi assured the team that the ASHIA team would provide them with all the knowledge they would need, “before your three days in the state would have been over; I assure you that your team will be adequately equipped with all the knowledge you seek’’.

He encouraged them to have an open mind and feel free to ask any questions they have regarding the scheme, assuring, “the ASHIA team is more than capable of putting you through concerning our health insurance scheme’’.

The Executive Secretary, Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, Adekunle, said that their state chose Anambra because of the towering successes that ASHIA has recorded in just about three years of its establishment.

“We are here on a 3-day tour of your Agency; we chose Anambra because I know the level of achievements that the scheme has had since the past three years under the leadership of my good friend, Onyemaechi.

“Please tell us everything we need to know about ICT, Finance, Administration and others. We shall be rolling out our scheme in a few months time,’’ Adekunle said.

He said that they had visited a state in the North but needed to visit Anambra State because of its status in the Health Insurance scheme in the country today.
