GOV. AbdulRahman AbdulRazak of Kwara has declared Jan. 25 as work-free day to enable potential voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards.

Head of Service, Mrs Susan Oluwole, stated in Ilorin on Tuesday that the holiday was targeted particularly at civil servants yet to collect their voter cards.

“Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazak has approved the declaration of Wednesday, Jan. 25, as work-free day for civil servants in the state to enable them to participate actively in the upcoming general elections.

“All those that are yet to get their voter card are admonished to immediately do so before the expiration of the collection date,’’ Oluwole stated. (NAN)
