GOV. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has expressed sadness over the death of the Ndeji of Lafiagi, Alhaji Ahmad Makama.
Makama reportedly died on Sunday after a brief illness.
In a statement by Malam Rafiu Ajakaye
the Chief Press Secretary to the governor in Ilorin, AbdulRazaq said the Ndeji paid his dues as a loyal community leader.
The governor added that the deceased along with others, contributed immensely to the development of the Lafiagi Emirate.
He Commiserated with the Lafiagi Emirate Council, led by His Royal Highness the Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Mohammed Kudu, and the immediate family of the prominent traditional chief on the deve over the death.
The governor prayed Allah to forgive the deceased, admit him to “Al-jannah Firdaus”, and give comfort to his family and the entire Emirate. (NAN)
