KWARA United Football Club of Ilorin has signed a one-year trial partnership deal with a betting company, 22Bet, in an attempt to complement the huge investment of the state government towards the development of the club.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Kwara United had earlier signed a deal with an Ilorin-based outfit, Dickalo Water Company, early this year.
While congratulating the Marketing Department of the club for sealing the deal with 22Bet, he explained that with the partnership, fans and lovers of the club would enjoy not only value for money in terms of play, but will benefit materials in terms of support services.
Titiloye commended Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for supporting the club in all ramifications, pointing out that his non-interference in the club’s activities has greatly assisted the team in its operations.
He affirmed that the partnership deal is in line with the philosophy of the club which is based on accuracy, movement and goals, and that the deal is also geared towards improving the revenue base of the state government in the long run.

The Marketing Manager of the 22Bet, Mr Adebayo Ajala, commended the club for its strides last season, especially in the CAF Continental competition, noting that Kwara United is the first league Club in the country that 22Bet is signing a deal with.
He said that the partnership entails branding and promotion of the club as a unique entity that will be reckoned with in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
Ajala, who said that 22Bet is elated to be part of Kwara United family, pointed out that the club’s impressive performances and exploits in the NPFL and CAF Confederation Cup motivated 22Bet to partner the club.
Also speaking, the Director Marketing of 22Bet, Mr Babalola Oladapo, stressed that the deal with Kwara is the beginning of good things to unfold between the betting company and the team, describing the club as one of the best in the NPFL.
