Kyari to speak at Gastech 2022 conference in Milan

MELE Kolo Kyari, Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC will be speaking at the Gastech 2022 conference scheduled to hold in Milan from September 5th-8th 2022.

The conference, which will help decide the future direction of energy, will centre on six key themes which include: Energy market megatrends, Energy transitions to the net-zero agenda, Project funding and investor activism, New operational realities, Energy justice and Next-generation energy solutions. 

Following the disruptions in the energy industry due to the call for a cleaner energy, the Gastech 2022 conference will help share perspectives that will set the tone for natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, and low-carbon solutions industries agreed to be the future direction of energy.

The conference promises to bring together over 300 leaders from government as well as the energy, finance and technology industries to share insight on how policymakers in the hydrogen value chain can work together to maximize the hydrogen opportunity and scale up project finance, infrastructure and end user accessibility, as well as position hydrogen as a low-carbon option within the future global energy mix.

“With global energy demand continuing to grow, and with the industrial sector representing around 50% of this demand, experts will examine how businesses are responding to the Hydrogen opportunity and explore how policy-makers, the financial community, technologists and the energy industry can work together to create a sustainable hydrogen ecosystem.

“Key industry players driving the energy transition will demonstrate how hydrogen can play a role in rapidly delivering on climate commitments and reducing emissions, particularly in hard to abate sectors.

The conference will also include exhibiting at Gastech Hydrogen, Connect thousands of buyers looking to source new products, solutions and technologies to realize hydrogen’s potential as a clean energy source, afford participants the opportunity to showcase latest products and services to the entire hydrogen value chain and identify solutions that will transform the global energy industry, as well as explore new market entry strategies to seize the hydrogen opportunity and scale up project finance, infrastructure, and end user accessibility.

“As hydrogen secures its place in the global energy mix, the strategic conference programme for Gastech and Gastech Hydrogen will explore how hydrogen can complement other low-carbon energy solutions to support the global energy transition. Energy ministers and CEO’s from around the world will consider the future of this promising energy carrier.

“The Gastech Hydrogen theatre will host the technical and commercial streams of the overall Hydrogen conference. It is located on the exhibition floor within the Hydrogen exhibition zone and next to the Low-Carbon Solutions Zone.
