THE Police on Wednesday arraigned a 20-year-old labourer, Sani Usaini, at a Kano Sharia Court bordering on alleged theft of five tubers of yam worth N10,000.

Usaini, who lives at Dan-Rimi Street, Rijiyar Lemo Quarters, Kano, is facing a count- harge of theft.

The Prosecutor, Insp Abdullahi Wada, told the court that the complainant, Umar Nuhu, who resides at Brigade Quarters, reported the matter at the Fagge Police Station, Kano, on Sept. 6.
