Lagos Aviation Academy student wins IATA Best Performer in Nigeria Award

LAGOS Aviation Academy (LAA), says its student, Miss Oluwafisayomi Layo-Olayemi, has emerged 2024 IATA Best Performer in Nigeria.

Layo-Olayemi emerged victorious in the IATA Foundation in Travel and Tourism Examination  for July, according to LAA.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that  the IATA  –  International Air Transport Association  –  Award holds annually.

LAA’s Head of School, Mr Bolaji Durojaiye, told newsmen in Lagos that the achievement was the fifth for the academy.

Expressing  delight at  the student’s  performance, Durojaiye said: “This accomplishment shows our unwavering commitment to delivering world-class training and dedication to shaping the future of aviation both in Nigeria and beyond.

“Our student’s achievement is not only a reflection of her hard work and dedication but also a testament to the leadership and innovation that Lagos Aviation Academy brings to the industry,” he said.

On her part,  Layo-Olayemi described LAA as an aviation school with quality instructors who always supported their students.

“The support I got from the school during my training made a difference in my performance,” the student said. (NAN)
