Lagos diverts traffic

IN line with the Nigerian Railway Modernisation Project (Lagos-Ibadan section) with extension to Lagos Port Apapa, the Lagos State Government has announced that there will be a traffic diversion at the Jonathan Coker Level Crossing in Fagba area of the state from Friday, 26th of August till Sunday, 28th of August 2022.

The diversion would be from 10pm and 3am daily.

The notification received by the Ministry of Transportation, explained that motorists can make use of Ashade Underpass, Adejobi and Toyin Crossing alternately as the Level Crossing at Jonathan Coker will be closed off to vehicular movement during the aforementioned time to enable the contractors work seamlessly.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde assured that the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority will be on ground to manage movement on the affected route, urging the motoring public to cooperate with them to minimise inconveniences.
