Lamido, others appointed Atiku’s advisers

The Peoples Democratic Party on Monday said it had appointed technical advisers to its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, in a statement, said the advisers were Mallam Sule Lamido; Senator Ahmed Makarfi; the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; and the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremmadu.
Ologbondiyan, who is also the Director, Media and Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, also named Mallam Sule Lamido as the Chairman of Elders’ Council for the campaign.
He added that Alhaji Kawu Baraje had been appointed as Technical Adviser to the Director-General of the campaign, Senator Bukola Saraki, while Dr Doyin Okupe was named the media adviser to Saraki.
