LASPA commits to using games to improve staff productivity

LAGOS State Parking Authority (LASPA) says it is will apply its annual games as a strategy to boost staff productivity.
The General Manager of LASPA, Mrs Adebisi Adelabu, gave the assurance in a statement on Saturday in Lagos.
According to Adelabu, the annual LASPA Games will foster teamwork, enhance performance and staff development, improve communication, and promote overall well-being of employees.
“It is not just about sports; it signifies our commitment to building cohesive teams that work harmoniously towards achieving our goals.
`The event is pivotal in cultivating a collaborative work environment that enhances organisational culture and productivity.
“Apart from the games, the authority recently conducted specialised training for staff to enhance their effectiveness in their roles,” the official said.
The LASPA boss said that such activities provided a refreshing break from routine tasks, rejuvenating employees and ultimately boosting morale and efficiency.
She reiterated the commitment of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led administration to promoting the overall health and well-being of employees of the state to enhance workplace efficiency.
While encouraging the staff to leverage the spirit of unity and dedication fostered by the games, Adelabu urged them to strive for excellence.
“The games featured a variety of sports including football, board games, and track and field competitions, providing participants with opportunities to showcase their athletic prowess and team spirit,” she said.
The general manager re-affirmed LASPA’s commitment to resolving all parking-related issues and ensuring that both residents and visitors of Lagos State would enjoy optimal parking experiences.
