Late Urualla paramount ruler makes its “final outing”

THE Urualla Clan Assembly has announced the “final outing” of Late Edwin Ekwosu Okosisi Ezeanyika, Eze Urualla XI, the Paramount Ruler of Urualla clan in Ideato North LGA of Imo State.

A statement released by the Urualla Clan Assembly said that following consultations with the Urualla Council of Ndi Eze and other traditional stakeholders, the “Final Outing” of the Ezeanyika (Okwara Mbiagu) is scheduled to take place between August 5 and 8, 2022 in Urualla clan.

The Assembly also called on friends and well-wishers who wish to submit tributes for the brochure in honour of the late legendary Okosisi III of Urualla clan to kindly do so via ezeuruallafinalouting@gmail.com before May 15, 2022.

Before his death, late Ezeanyika, was trained as a lawyer in England and joined the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in 1964. He was among the first Africans, who worked with Commonwealth in Zambia after which he returned to Nigeria to take up the leadership mantle of his people, where he reigned for 45 years from 1977.

He will be missed by his family and the entire Urualla Community, including N. Okosisi Ezeanyika; Eze Urualla XII, C. U. Adigbonu; Eze Ozuakoli Urualla, Prof. T. O. C. Ndubizu; Chairman Ekwedashike Urualla and Prof. Sam. Ezanyika; President-General of Urualla Clan Assembly, who are also the signatories to the statement.
