
Laurels for the Nigerian Army

NIGERIAN Army contingent representing the country in the Boxing event at the 11th All Africa Games in Brazaville, Congo Republic did the nation proud by winning gold medals. The trio of Kehinde Obareh, Lance Corporal, Edith Agu, Lance Corporal and Caroline Linus, Private, won Gold and Silver medals, respectively.
The trio won the medals on Sunday, September 13. It will be recalled that Nigerian Army boxing team has been consistently coming out tops in competitions. The team won laurels in the pre-tournament event organised in Nigeria. Other Nigerian Army athletes participated in other events at the All Africa Games and won more laurels for the nation.
