SEN. Magnus Abe on Monday expressed condolences to the Rivers State  Governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike over the death of his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Mr Simeon Nwakaudu.

Abe, former senator representing Rivers South-East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, said in a statement that the death of Nwakaudu was a great lost to the State Government and his family.

“Although, I sometimes got the rough end of his pen owing to our political differences, his demise at the prime of life is tragic indeed and it is times like this that test our common humanity.

”I pray that God Almighty will grant his soul eternal rest and give comfort to his family,” he said.

Abe described the late Nwakaudu as a dependable, brilliant and loyal aide to Gov. Wike.

He enjoined Gov.Wike and Nwakaudu’s family to take solace in the fact that Simeon Nwakaudu would always be remembered for his dedication to duty and service. (NAN)
