THE Civil Liberties Organization Anambra State has sympathised and identify with traders at Main Market who lost their monies and goods during horrendous fire inferno that ravaged two story building section of the in which traders lost millions of naira.

“We commend prompt visit to the scene by the state deputy governor, but Anambra government that should takes step further by payment of adequate compensation to the victims, provision of urgent palliatives measures and renovation of the dilapidated building.
“We equally solicits supports and help from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) legislators both Federal and state representing the affected area and public spirited individuals to help in ameliorating the sufferings, plights and predicament of the victims.
“Anambra state government should reactive State Fire Service to make it more functional and alive to her responsibilities.
“They should also constitute Committee made of men and women of impeccable integrity to unravel circumbstances surrounding incessant fire disaster in our markets in other to forsetall future occurrences.
“We equally thanks and glorify God that no live was lost, may such despicable incident never happen in the state again CLO reiterated.”
