An unemployed, Lukmon Ogunbote, who allegedly stole a car worth N700,000 was on Thursday brought before an Ikorodu Magistrates’ court in Lagos State.
Ogunbote, 30, whose address was not provided in court, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.
The prosecutor, SP Gbemileke Agoi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on Feb.15, at 2 p.m. around High School Junction in Ikorodu.
Agoi said the accused stole and sold the car belonging to the complainant, Mr Kabiru Oseni, and converted the money to his personal use.
