Man, 31, docked for allegedly stealing Iphone worth N270,000

A 31-year old man, Tobi Adebare, was on Tuesday arraigned before an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, for allegedly stealing an Iphone worth N270,000.

Adebare whose address was not given, is being charged with conspiracy and stealing.

The Prosecutor, Insp Opeyemi Olagunju, told the court that the defendant and others now at large, committed the offence at about 10.45p.m on July 28.

Olagunju said Adebare stole an iphone XR valued N270,000, belonging to the complainant, Anuoluwapo Atanda.

He said the offence contravened Section 383 and Section 390 (9) of the Criminał Code Laws of Oyo State, 2000.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Magistrate, Mrs  A. T. Oyediji granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety in like sum.

She said that the surety must be a blood relation of the defendant, and adjourned the matter until Sept. 4, for hearing. (NAN)
