THE Management of Rangers International Football Club, Enugu, on Monday unveiled Ebere Amaraizu as the Chairman of the club’s Foundation.

Amobi Ezeaku, the club’s General Manager, announced this at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, during the official presentation of the cup won by Rangers Team A at the club’s just-concluded Intra-football competition.

Ezeaku said that the inauguration of the Foundation was part of the fulfillment and realisation of strategic plans of the club’s management to uplift Rangers to a holistic international brand.

”Ebere Amaraizu as a great football administrator will help to reposition Rangers through the foundation and make it play social services and community impact roles.

”This will enable Rangers to function in line with the international best practices obtainable with other foreign clubs,” he said.

Amaraizu is a Pillar of Sports in Enugu state, with vast experience in community impact programmes.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Amaraizu is also the Chairman, Enugu State Taekwondo Association. (NAN)
