Mandilas: Firefighters on ground – Official

THE Director, Lagos State Fire Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, says firefighters and other relevant agencies are on the ground to put out the Mandilas fire.
Adeseye, in a statement on Sunday in Lagos, said the fire service received a call by 13:15hours that a 10-storey building warehouse in Mandilas was on fire.
Adeseye said the fire which originated from the first floor had reached the fourth floor.
She said the Lagos State Fire Rescue Service, the Police, Rapid Response Squad and other agencies were already on the ground to ensure the fire was put out.
The director added that emergency responders from the Ebute Elefun and Sari Iganmu Fire Stations are currently at the scene to put the situation under control.
She, however, noted that the cause of the fire was still unknown, adding that there were no casualty.(NAN)
