Margaret Obiukwu's burial holds April 5

Late Ezinne Margaret Uduekwesi Obiukwu is to be buried on April 5.
The Obiukwu family Akabu village, Osumenyi, Nnewi South local government area of Anambra State, has announced the death of their mother Ezinne Margaret Uduekwesi Obiukwu, who died on January 4, at the age of 84 after a brief illness.
Polycarp Obiukwu, Nnabuenyi of Osumenyi, and chairman of the Bolton White Group, Abuja, son of the deceased, made the announcement on behalf of the family.
Late Margaret, a wealthy trader, and socialite, in her lifetime, belonged to some socio-cultural groups including the Eziafa Social Club and the Mbanesse Social Club. She was known for her philanthropic acts as well as her heroic acts as a defender of the oppressed, and a giver.
Her funeral rites begin on April 4, (Easter Sunday) by 6:00 pm prompt with a Vigil Mass at the Obiukwu’s Compound, Akabu village, Osumenyi in Nnewi-south local government area of Anambra state.
On April 5, (Easter Monday) the funeral Mass will be by 10:00 am, at the same venue and interment follows immediately after at her family compound.
Late Margaret is survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
