
Marrakech, Rabat to host CAF Women’s Champions League matches

THE cities of Marrakech and Rabat have been confirmed as the two venues which will host the second edition of CAF Women’s Champions League from Oct. 30 to Nov. 13.
The competition’s matches will be played at Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat and the Grand Stade in Marrakech.
The tournament’s final match will take place in the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
That was the same venue which hosted the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on July 23 in Rabat.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that eight clubs will take part in Africa’s biggest women club football competition.
Group A has hosts ASFAR (Morocco), Simba Queens SC (Tanzania), Green Buffaloes (Zambia) and Determine Girls (Liberia).
The competition’s Group B has Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Bayelsa Queens (Nigeria), Wadi Degla (Egypt) and TP Mazembe (DR Congo).(NAN)
