MIKANO International’s Motors Division has entered into a partnership agreement with ASIA Group of Companies, an enterprise in Kano state to expand its auto business.

The partnership is a strategic advance to align the joint vision of creating the largest automotive hub in Northern Nigeria.

Mikano Motors is the exclusive partner to global auto brands such as Geely, Maxus and ZNA, while the ASIA Group has interests in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, detergent production, logistics and distribution.

According to the Managing Director, Mikano Motors, Mr. Ralph Haidar, Mikano International’s decision to partner with ASIA Group was prompted by the alignment of both parties’ objectives to grow sales, and expand their market dominance.

“Mikano Motors is excited to partner with the ASIA Group of Companies to expand our horizon to the state of Kano and surrounding Northern states”.

The Chairman, ASIA Group of Companies, Alhaji Sanni Isa Abubakar, discussed the Group’s commitment to assuring the success of the partnership by commissioning a large-scale state- of- the art showroom and service centre in the commercial heart of Kano.

He said, “We have already commenced operations and hope to complete the structure before the end of 2022.

“We are positive that this will be of great benefit to clients in Northern Nigeria, seeking these hi-tech vehicles and avail them access to the superior after-sales services offered by Mikano. We are happy to be representing a trusted and reputable brand such as Mikano International.”

Mikano International’s automotive division Mikano Motors was established in 2018.
