Military kills notorious gang leader in Ihiala

THE Ihiala Progress Union has applauded the Nigerian military for successfully bursting a notorious UGM terrorists’ gang in the area killing its leader nicknamed Ozy.

The Union reported on Monday that the military operatives at the Afor-Igwe Ubahuekwem Ihiala stormed the dreaded camp of the unknown gunmen around Umudara axis of Ihite Ihiala and overpowered them with superior military firepower..

It also said that two other members of the gang were captured, while the rest fled with bullet wounds.

According to the union, no injury or casualty on the part of the military and other security operatives was recorded.

The union also called on members of the public to join in the fight against insecurity.
