THE Anambra State Ministry of Youth Development has organized a day workshop for the media volunteers from 21 LGAs to upgrade their capacity and reposition them for the next phase of 1 Youth 2 Skills Solution youth empowerment program.

Declaring the workshop open at Ministry ICT hall Awka, the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba said that the capacity building workshop would enhance the service delivery of the volunteers in order to achieve effective media coverage and publicity of the program.

He explained that training the media volunteers in their various fields would sharpen their skills for effective and optimal performance so as to achieve the desired objective of adequate publicity of the 1 youth 2 skills program.

Mr. Agha Mba called on the participants to take the training serious and listen attentively to acquire more knowledge to enable them to consolidate, urging everyone to belong somewhere in order to partake in the program.

In his presentation, the resource person, an ICT expert, Mr. Castro Ideke said that social media teams need content developer, social manager, media influencers and websites administrators in order to achieve better results, adding that their roles and responsibilities would throw more light on enhancement of team synergy.
