Mohammed Adamu confirmed as Inspector General of Police

Mohammed Adamu, the Acting Inspector General of Police, has been confirmed by the Council of State as the new Inspector General of Police.
Mohammed was appointed in the acting capacity on January 15, when he took over from former IGP, Ibrahim Idris.
The confirmation was announced at the Council of State meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday in Abuja. – Channels TV
