Movie producer advises youth on self development

Abuja-based movie producer, Rachael Bakam has urged the youth to take advantage of the opportunities available in the country to develop themselves.

Bakam made the call on Sunday night in Abuja at the premier of the film “Land of opportunity” at Silverbird Cinemas on Sunday in Abuja.

“We know that Nigeria and Nigerians are faced with economic, security and many other crises, but despite these odds, there is still hope.

“This is why we have taken it upon ourselves to use the film and the media to address certain issues in Nigeria at the moment,” she said.

She explained further that there was need `to bridge the gap between the Government and the people.’

She urged well meaning Nigerians, government and other stakeholders to support her programme.

Bakam played a lead role in the movie and stars along with veteran film maker and Actor Ernest Obi, Sports legend and former UN Ambassador John Fashanu.

Others are Veteran Actor and film Director, Chief Obi Okoli, Actor Iyke Ikponwosa, Chief Chris Omenyi who is the Assistant Producer.
