Musical theatre sensation, ‘Ademide’, visits CrownHill varsity

MUSICAL theatre sensation, Moshood Fattah, who acted ‘Ademide’ in Funke Akindele’s ‘Battle on Buka Street’, has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, CrownHill University, Eyenkorin, Kwara, Prof. Jeleel Ojuade.

Fattah, who said in Ilorin during the visit that the vice-chancellor was his former lecturer at the University of Ilorin, appreciated him for the mentorship he received while he was in school.

The artiste said the aim of his visit was to congratulate the vice-chancellor on his recent appointment, while praying for a successful tenure.

“Prof. Ojuade was my former lecturer and mentor at the University of Ilorin, and I pray for Allah’s grace and protection upon him.

“I want to assure the institution that I will always be available to assist at any time and in whatever capacity.

“I hope to be a role model to the younger generation and impact lives positively someday,” he said.

Responding, Ojuade appreciated Fattah for deeming it fit to pay him a visit, saying the joy of every teacher is to see his students succeed.

The vice-chancellor expressed pride in Fattah as a brand and a good ambassador of the Unilorin Performing Arts Alumni.

He said that great ambassadors like Fattah would be brought to CHU as resource persons, mentors and role models for the students. (NAN)
