Mustapha condoles with Adamawa govt. over Tukur’s death

BOSS Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation, SGF, has sent a letter of condolence to the government and people of Adamawa state, over the death of Mahmud Tukur.
Mustapha described Tukur’s death as a great loss to the people of Adamawa state.
He said that Tukur was an elder statesman, a great nationalist, and a devoted son of Adamawa state, who possessed great intelligence and practicability and had recorded significant milestones as a scholar and a politician.
“His devotion to duty and relentlessness is worthy of emulation. It was no wonder that he recorded significant milestones in his career as a scholar and a politician.
“He was a trendsetter, being the foundation upon which the Bayero University, Kano was established as a pioneer Vice-Chancellor, a responsibility he discharged with uncommon commitment.
According to Mustapha, Tukur’s dedication was what necessitated his appointment by Muhammadu Buhari as the minister for commerce and Industry.
“This duty he discharged with sincere patriotism and deep conviction. His selfless contributions to the development and growth of Nigeria is inviolable and his contribution to democracy laudable,” he said.
He prayed for comfort and strength to bear the unfathomable loss as well as for the departed soul to find forgiveness and rest in eternity.
