DAVID Abuluya, Founder, Nacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga in Nasarawa State, says the institution is ready for the visitation of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) team from May 5 to May 8 for accreditation of six courses.
Abuluya told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Akwanga on Thursday that the institution had paid the amount required for the accreditation.
He said that the accreditation would give the students, parents and guardians more confidence in the institution.
“We will continue to adhere to academic standards as you are also aware that the institution is well known for its academic standard and excellence.
“I want to disclose to you that NBTE team will visit this institution from May 5 to May 8 to accredit six courses.
“The courses are Electrical Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Accounting, Businesses Administration and Management.
“We are ready for the accreditation as we have even received a letter of accreditation’s visit from the NBTE,” he said.
The founder also said that the institution has zero tolerance for cultism, examination malpractices, drug abuses and other social ills.
Abuluya said he was more committed to improving the welfare of members of staff and students of the institution for effective service delivery.
“We will continue to create an enabling environment for learning and teaching,” he said.
