Naira eases 0.04% against dollar on offical window

THE Naira depreciated against the dollar on Thursday at the Investors and Exporters Window to close at N425.05.

The figure represented a  depreciation of 0.04 per cent when compared with N424.88 exchanged on Wednesday.

Also, the open indicative rate closed at N420.96 to the dollar on Thursday.

An exchange rate of N444.00 to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N425.05.

The Naira sold for as low as N413 to the dollar within the day’s trading.

A total of 76.64 million dollars was traded in foreign exchange at the official Investors and Exporters Window on Thursday. (NAN)
