Nasarawa: SDP releases timetable for Nov.2 LG election

THE Social Democratic Party (SDP) Nasarawa State chapter, says it has released timetable for the Nov.2  local government election in the state.

This is contained in a statement by Mr Mohammed Audu, Chairman of the Electoral Committee of SDP in Lafia on Sunday.

Audu said the party’s primary election for Lafita Zone, which comprised of Lafia, Obi, Awe, Keana and Doma local governments, would hold on Oct. 14.

He said that of Akwanga Zone, which comprised Nassarawa Eggon, Akwanga and Wamba would hold on Oct. 15  while that of Keffi Zone would be Oct. 16.

According to him, Keffi Zone comprises of Keffi, Kokona, Karu, Nasarawa and Toto.

The party assured aspirants of a level playing ground for the election.(NAN)
