Nasarawa Speaker hails PMB at 77, urges prayers, support

THE Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi, has felicitated with President Muhammadu Buhari and Nigerians on the occasion of the president’s 77th birthday on Tuesday.

In a statement by his Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna, made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lafia on Tuesday, the speaker called on Nigerians to support and pray for the president to succeed.

“Every leader needs the support and prayers of his people to succeed, hence the need for Nigerians to continue to pray and support President Buhari to succeed,” he said.

Balarabe-Abdullahi, who is the Vice Chairman of the North-Central chapter of Nigerian Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures, described Buhari as a man of honour with great vision, hence the need for all irrespective of religious, political and ethnic diversities to support him for the success of the country.

He wished the president more good health, wisdom , guidance and protection.

He expressed optimism that the president would lay a solid foundation for the growth of the country.

The speaker said the last four and half years of the president were eventful, adding, “there are a lot of good testimonies about his administration and Nigerians have seen them”. (NAN)
