She said the ASPEN Plus training, declared opened on Wednesday, was aimed at empowering 50 selected NASENI engineers and biochemists and provide them with advanced tools for process design, optimisation, and simulation.
According to her, it will also equip the trainees to contribute to Nigeria’s sustainable energy goals.
She said that the hybrid training holding across NASENI’s development institutes, marked a significant step forward in NASENI’s commitment to advancing technical capacity in renewable energy and engineering design.
Mr Khalil Halilu, Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of NASENI, represented by Chika Ezeanyanso, Deputy Director, Nano Science Department, said the training would equip members of staff with knowledge to drive innovation in renewable energy.
Mr Anas Balarabe, Special Adviser to the EVC on Science and Engineering Commercialisation, stressed on the value of bridging research and commercialisation.
