THE Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has trained over 50 youths as part of its initiatives to reduce unemployment in the country.

Imam Abdul-Azeez Onike, the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, said this in a statement on Thursday.

Onike said that the training featured both Muslim and Christian youths.

“NASFAT is poised at complementing efforts of the government in reducing youth unemployment and restiveness in the country.

“We are doing this by providing the youths and Imams with various skills that are relevant to the nation’s development.

“The training initiative fits perfectly with the livelihood component of the HELD (Health, Education, Livelihood and (Da’wah) agenda of NASFAT.

“We trained about 50 youths in digital marketing and they will now be undertaking internship in companies to further strengthen their skills,” he said.

Onike urged employers of labour to engage the certified group of digital marketers to improve their market presence, visibility and positioning of their companies’ brands for improved sales. (NAN)
