THE Kaduna State chapter of the Nasrul-Lahi-Faithi Society (NASFAT) has unveiled its N15 million media and administrative centre, to serve as a hub for Islamic propagation.
Speaking at the ceremony on Sunday, the Branch Chairman, Engr Muhyideen Yusuf, said the Society required adequate media coverage of its activities, hence the need for the centre.
Yusuf commended the Ummah who partook in the building of the facility and prayed to Allah to reward them with Aljannat.
“Apart from the ultimate reward, the building of the facility in a way affords a person to continue to earn the blessings of Allah even after death,” he said.
The Chairman disclosed that the project required some equipment that would make the centre functional, urging the public to donate generously to ensure its rapid completion.
In her remarks, the Special Guest of Honour at the occasion, Executive Chairman, Federal Character Commission, Dr Muheeba  Dankaka, noted that building an Administrative and Media centre attached to a mosque would enhance the day-to-day administration of the Mosque while furthering the propagation of Islam.
She added that NASFAT had been at the forefront as a formidable Muslim Association in the vanguard of promoting Islamic values and propagation of the religion.
” The event is happening in the holy month of Ramadan, that provides Muslims with the opportunity to be near their creator, through supplications, abstinence and perseverance.
” As you honour me to commission this building, I feel highly satisfied that our modest contributions to the progress of Islam in general, and NASFAT in particular, is being recognized.
” Let all be assured that I will continue to serve Islam and humanity and to appreciate Allah’s favour in my life”, she said. (NAN)
