A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Comrade Edwin Uhara has congratulated the 19th Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Barrister Boss Gida Mustapha on the conferment of the National Honour of the Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) on him by President Muhammadu Buhari, (GCFR).
In a statement released to newsmen in Abuja on Monday, Uhara said Boss Mustapha deserve the honour because he has paid his dues in several fronts without sparing anything in defence of the country as well as ensuring that the Buhari administration did not only succeed but also leaves lasting legacies on the sands of time which Nigerians and unborn generations would appreciate in years to come.
Uhara noted that despite several distractions from different quarters, Boss Mustapha’s loyalty to Buhari and the Nigerian people is legendary and is never in doubt because it is centered on making life better for all Nigerians especially the talakawas or the ordinary people.
The party stalwart who was visibly elated with the development noted that Boss Mustapha is one man who always seeks to serve and not to be served.
He commended President Buhari for restoring the value of the honour with the award been given to deserving Nigerians only once in the eight years of his administration unlike in the past when it was made a yearly ritual been given to some people of easy virtues.
The party Chieftain urged the SGF and other awardees to continue to justify the honour because to whom much is given, much is expected.
