NCAM gets new Executive Director

THE Federal Government has appointed Kamal Abdulgafar Rasheed as new Executive Director/CEO of the National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM).

This is contained in a statement signed by the spokesperson of the centre, Mr Olaifa Taye- Paul, and made available to newsmen  in Ilorin on Thursday.

He said  the appointment was sequel  to the approval of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr Muhammad Mahmood Abubakar.

‘Rasheed was expected to deploy his wealth of experience  as agriculture expert to transform the centre to greatness.

The new Executive Director  holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Ibadan and has made significant contributions to the development of agriculture in Nigeria.

”We believe that he will provide the necessary leadership to drive the centre’s mandate and take it to the next level,” he said.

”NCAM is confident that  Kamal will enhance the centre’s capacity to deliver on its mandate and contribute significantly towards  the development of agriculture in Nigeria,” (NAN)
