NDIC commits to exceptional service delivery to stakeholders

THE Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), has reiterated its commitment toward ensuring excellent and exceptional service delivery to stakeholders.

Mr Bello Hassan, the Managing Director of NDIC, said this at the 2024 NDIC Customer Service Week (CSW) celebration in Abuja on Tuesday.

Hassan, represented by Mrs Emily Osuji, the Executive Director, Corporate Service of the NDIC, said that customers’ satisfaction was one of the Corporation’s priority.

He said the theme for the 2024 CSW celebration ‘Above and Beyond’ reflected the spirit of collaboration and unwavering commitment of the Corporation.

”As you all know, our passion for what we do drives us to creating a positive and stakeholder-centric culture, exceeding expectations.

”By commemorating today, we celebrate our valued stakeholders and the service delivery staff of the Corporation.

”I would like to commend our staff, who have displayed exemplary performances and dedication in fostering a culture of exceptional customer service, particularly payments to depositors of the failed Heritage Bank,” he said.

Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli, the National Coordinator of SERVICOM Office, in a lecture, commended the NDIC for practicalising the theme of the week through the prompt payment of the failed Heritage Bank customers.

Akajemeli said that customer service was a core means of building brands loyalty and encouraging customers’ satisfaction.

She said that corporate culture was the shared values, beliefs, practices that defined how an organisation operated both internally and externally.

Akajemeli appealed to the Corporation to engage critical stakeholders to ensure prompt bank customers complaints resolution.

The title of her lecture is: ‘the Role of Corporate Culture in Fostering Exceptional Customer Service’.
