NDLEA gets new commander in Osun

THE new Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Osun Command, Mr Adetula Lawal, on Friday, assumed duty in the state.

A statement issued in Osogbo by the spokesman of the Command, Mr Charles Odigie, said that Lawal took over from Commander Chidi Nnadi, who has been posted to Abia.

Charles said that the new commander, before his appointment served as the Head of Operations, Tincan Island Port, Lagos.

“He hails from Owo in Ondo state,” he said

The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that the outgoing commander, Nnadi, assumed duty in Osun on Feb. 13, 2022.

During his tenure the command to effect the arrest of 645 drug suspects and secured 117 convictions during his term as the head of the agency in Osun (NAN)
