THE Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) has sought the collaboration of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) to sensitise workers to Group Life Insurance.
A statement by NAICOM, said the association sought the collaboration in Abuja on Friday when they visited the Commissioner of Insurance, Mr Sunday Thomas.
The commission also said that NECA stressed the need for improved sensitisation to the enhanced third party motor insurance for employers for better understanding.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that group life insurance policy refers to the life insurance coverage provided to a group of people, usually employees working in an organisation.
The primary purpose of the group life insurance policies is to provide financial independence and support to the concerned employee’s family in case of any emergencies. (NAN)
