Nestlé Nigeria wins multiple honors at the SERAS, CSR Awards

NESTLÉ Nigeria, a leading player in the food and beverage industry, has been recognized for exceptional performance at the SERAS (Sustainability, Enterprise and Responsibility Awards) CSR Awards, held recently at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The SERAS CSR award is positioned to promote excellence and best practice in CSR and Sustainability in Africa. At the prestigious awards, now in its 17th year, Nestlé Nigeria won the following awards:

• Best Company in Rural Population Integration

• Best Company in Food Security

Best Company in Food Security award

• Most Responsible Organization in Africa: 2nd Runner-up

Best Company in Rural Population Integration award

The Annual SERAS CSR Awards aims to lead the drive towards the actualization of the Sustainable Development Goals in Africa by enabling a platform that promotes, measures and harmonizes the contributions of the private sector, government/public sector, and non-governmental organizations to attain set standards.

Most Responsible Organization in Africa: 2nd Runner-up

The MD/CEO of Nestlé Nigeria reiterated the company’s commitment to continuous excellence, “We are proud that Nestlé Nigeria’s exceptional performance across various business metrics is being recognized. We remain dedicated to upholding the highest standards of corporate excellence and best practices within our Industry”.

The SERAS CSR awards which now attracts participation from several African countries, is the prime CSR and Sustainability recognition in Africa.

A panel of 9 expert judges from around the world, follow a rigorous, independent process that recognizes best practices and impact.
