NGE Holds 2015 Conference in Yenagoa

THE Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE, is holding its 2015 All Nigerian Editors Conference, ANEC, in Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa State, from August 26 to 30, at the Banquet hall, government house. The theme of this years’ conference is, Nigeria: The Change We Need.
At the conference, the NGE will also hold a bye-election for the position of president to replace Femi Adesina, who resigned as the president of the Guild, following his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari as his special adviser on media/publicity.
Thus, the NGE wants those who are interested in contesting for the position to file in their papers.
The Guild expects delegates to pay all relevant dues into its bank accounts before coming for the conference, warning that no cash would be accepted at the registration desk. “This arrangement is meant to hasten the process of registration during the conference. Therefore, only bank tellers will be accepted at the point of registration as evidence of payment.”
