NGE Holds 2017 Biennial Convention, April 28 – 30

THE Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE holds its biennial convention between Friday, April 28 and Sunday, April 30, in accordance with Sections 5 and 11b of its constitution.
The venue of the convention is the Airport Hotel, Ikeja, the Lagos State capital.
Delegates are expected to arrive in Lagos on April 28 and depart on April 30, after the elections slated for April 29.
According to a statement signed by Victorial Ibanga, general secretary, only the members who are up-to-date in their financial obligations (up to December 2016) will be allowed to vote or be voted for. She said a list of those eligible to vote would be made available at the venue and that for those whose dues were still outstanding, should endeavour to pay into the NGE accounts in Union Bank Plc or Zenith Bank, and present the tellers at the venue.
