Nigeria Boxing Federation mourns Osondu Ogbu

THE Nigeria Boxing Federation, NBF, has announced the untimely  death of Chief Osondu Ogbu popularly called Old Skool, an executive member of the federation who died on Saturday 10 February 2024.

President of the federation, Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minimah has described the death of Chief Ogbu as very shocking and sad to  the immediate family and the entire boxing stakeholders. 

“This is shocking and sad to Chief Ogbu’s immediate family and the entire Nigeria boxing fraternity.

“Chief Ogbu was indeed a jolly good fellow that will be missed by all.

Lets take solace in God Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth.”

We pray that his soul rest in peace and God to give those he left behind the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Until his death, Chief Osondu Ogbu was an Executive Board member of the Nigeria Boxing Federation (NBF) who runs an entertainment spot at the Brai Ayenote Boxing Complex, National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.
