Nigeria gets initiative to encourage start-ups, young entrepreneurs-Group

A group , Big Brother Welfare International (BIGWIL), said it would inaugurate the Support Africa Young Entrepreneurs and Startup (SAYESUP), Nigeria chapter to empower young entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
Mr Shyam Batra, Global Vice President of BigWil-Africa,made this known to newsmen in Abuja.
Batra said that the inauguration of the initiative would also empower young entrepreneurs in Nigeria to drive innovation, create sustainable businesses, and contribute to economic development.
According to Batra , the initiative is a revolutionary platform designed to provide vital resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities for young entrepreneurs and startups across Africa.
“The launch of SAYESUP Nigeria chapter marks a significant milestone in BigWil-Africa’s mission to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in Africa.
“By providing targeted support and resources, the organisation aims to empower young entrepreneurs in Nigeria to drive innovation, create sustainable businesses, and contribute to the country’s economic development.
“The Nigerian government’s efforts to diversify the economy and promote entrepreneurship as a means of job creation and economic growth align with BigWil-Africa’s objectives.
“With the right support and resources, young entrepreneurs in Nigeria have the potential to drive innovation and create sustainable businesses that will contribute to the country’s economic development, “he said
Batra said that by providing access to the right resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities, young entrepreneurs would be empowered to succeed and contribute to the growth of the Nigerian economy.
He said that the SAYESUP Nigeria chapter would be officially inaugurated in five major cities – Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and Kano by the end of the fourth quarter of 2024.(NAN)
