NIGERIAN Flautist, Dr Omatshola Iseli, popularly known as “Tee Mac”, says in 2025, he envisions Nigeria as a country where poverty will be eradicated.

Tee Mac said this while sharing his aspirations for the new year during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos.

He said: “My aspirations for Nigeria in the year 2025 are filled with hope and a vision for a brighter future.

“I dream of a nation where peace reigns supreme, a place where the fear of kidnappings, killings, and ritual murder is a distant memory.

“I long for a return to the days of old, when people could venture out without the shadow of fear looming over them.

“I envision a Nigeria where poverty is eradicated, allowing every citizen to live a life of comfort and dignity.”

The artiste, however, said the government had a pivotal role to play by implementing effective policies that foster job creation, ensuring that young people no longer had to wander the streets in search of employment opportunities.

“I imagine a society where every individual wakes up each morning with the assurance that there will be food on the table, and no one has to endure the pain of going to bed hungry.

“I sincerely hope that God grants our leaders the wisdom and strength to carry out their duties with honesty and integrity, always prioritising the interests of the Nigerian people who entrusted them with their positions in the hope of building a better nation.“

Tee Mac also advised renowned artistes to invest in foundations that support sick and elderly musicians.

“In my vision, I wish the entertainment industry flourishes with its superstars investing generously in foundations that support sick and elderly musicians, allowing them to live out their days with dignity and respect.

“May 2025 be a year of blessings and success for all Nigerians,” he said. (NAN)
