Nigerian President Hosts Summit on Burkina Faso

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari will host an extraordinary summit of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, Authority of Heads of State and Government on Tuesday, September 22, in Abuja.

The main item on the agenda of the summit is the current political situation in Burkina Faso, according to a statement signed by Shehu Garba and made available to Realnews today.

It should be recalled that a coup d’ etat occurred in Burkina Faso last week. Buhari had condemned the coup.
