Nigeria's Bakare takes part in IOC World Conference on injury prevention

BAKARE Ummukulthoum, a member of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) Medical & Scientific Commission, will be representing commission at the 7th edition of the IOC World Conference on prevention of injury and illness in sports.

He has been identified as one of the speakers in the symposium and chairperson to moderate some sessions as she  will participates in the International Federation Conference and Chief Medical Officer’s Meetings.

She will also be presenting in a symposium at the conference and moderating some sessions as chairperson.

Bakare has been appointed as an editor for British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM). 

She is the First African Female Physiotherapist to be appointed into the Editorial Board of the British Journal of Sports Medicine.
